Kochchi (pronounced ko.chee) is the first Sri Lankan street food business in Scotland. Our vision was created when two passionate foodie friends got together and converted a rice horse box to serve Sri Lankan street food from our trailer hatch. We (Shehan and Suki) were born in Sri Lanka but live in Glasgow where we first met back in 2009. We are both food enthusiasts who have been raised on traditional home cooking and have a particular love for Sri Lankan street food. Our trailer gives us the opportunity to introduce our exotic island grub to the people of Scotland. Our menu will bring a burst of sunshine through our vibrant dishes that pack an explosion of flavours, spices and colour. Expect a creative combination of iconic Sri Lankan street food that will cater to vegans, veggies as well as meat lovers.
